Giving Thanks

So I took these photos yesterday before starting dinner and didn't get the chance to upload them.  I absolute love this dress. Downside is it's a large and it may be the last time i wear it. :( I bought it back when I lived in AZ and that's when I was a bit chunkier. And at that time it was super short. I decided to pair it with a random belt and these sandals. I went nowhere special, just decided to take some pics because I know I won't have any time until next week. This weekend will be super busy because I have to work both jobs, so I'm looking at 3 15hr work days in a row. Pray for me!

This Thanksgiving, I'm just thankful for having the best people around to keep me up and running. My husband, son, co-workers. It's my family's second year celebrating the holidays together. This time of year really gets me homesick because I start to miss friends and family back home..and the food!
What did you do for Thanksgiving? :)

Breaking Dawn

Yes, I went to see Breaking Dawn today. I'm usually a go-to-see-it-at-midnight type of girl, but since my son has started school, that's a no-go. I was just amazed at how incredible the movie turned out. And of course, I teared up all through out the movie. But what got me all mushy were the end credits. :( So sad to see Twilight come to an end. But I'll most definitely be going to see it again!

I've had this shirt for awhile and just now wearing it. It's sleeveless and since the weather has been dropping, I decided to pair it with this jacket and my new booties. I kind of stepped out of my zone with this outfit and I loved it. I could feel eyes glancing at me all day!

I love how comfortable these shoes are. Unfortunately, they run about a 1/2 size larger so I had some extra room. Even though when I got home, I could feel blisters developing. :(

And if you also haven't noticed, black, red, and white are Twilight colors! =)

Scarf Print

Hello Lady!
Here's my first outfit post for November! I'm so used to cold weather this time of year, but here in FL it's just chilly. Since the time change, I have to rush home to take pics before it gets dark. Not liking that at all. Anyway, I bought this dress from Forever 21 awhile back. I love the material. It's not tight and it's not short! The perfect length for one with hips. The only thing i wasn't too happy about was the cleavage. I had to keep pulling it up and eventually had to put a safety pin in to hold it over.

I bought these heels from the Base Exchange early summer for only $20! I love the patent look and they don't hurt at all.

I originally wanted to go with my black tote, but I went with the clutch to bring out the red in my dress.

Besides the time change, I've got another PT job for the holidays. So who knows how often I'll be posting. I hope as much as I can. Anything for you guys!

Ready for Combat

Do you have that one item that you've been dying to get for the longest? And you couldn't buy it because you didn't have the money or it was sold out in your size?
Same here. Except my problem with this one particular item were the reviews.

A few months back, I found the perfect combat boot. Madden Girl Raszcal Boot. I've been putting it off because of the price. It sold out in my size on Zooshoo so I headed over to Amazon and they have it for a few bucks cheaper. That's when I noticed the reviews. Most buyers were saying after the first/second time they've been worn, they start to scuff at the toe. My reaction: NOOOOOOOO!!! :(

So, what to do? Do I buy them anyway and take my chances..or just not buy them and save my money for a different boot?
Has this happened to you? What would you do?
